As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I have worked with over a thousand substance addicts and abusers in treatment and individual therapy. I was director of both the John Lucas Residential Treatment Center and the Behavioral Health Unit of Spring Branch Medical Center.  My experience also includes work with indigent clients in the Women & Infants program at the Houston Recovery Campus. In this age of so much compulsive behavior, I also work with all nature of addictive behaviors and eating disorders.  My practice is well grounded in the importance of the 12 Steps and emphasizes personal responsibility in recovery.
